About the course
Cadre Consultants are leaders in providing safety solutions to the Media. This week-long intensive course gives you access to a whole host of learning materials and access to 5 evening masterclasses with David Bevan who has personally trained over 6000 journalists in Media Safety.
By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation of the procedures required for safety and will have started to develop the mindset that is required to be proactive in improving safety outcomes.
The first week of the course will be intensive, with a 2-hour session held each evening which are recorded. After this week you will have 2 weeks to study all of the materials in detail and produce a piece of coursework. You will need to present this coursework to a panel of Cadre Consultants. If we are satisfied that you understand the subject matter you will pass the course.
The course includes lots of additional resources which will help you to deepen your understanding, alongside quizzes allowing you to test your knowledge as you learn.
